Scope of Project:
Faulconer acted as the prime contractor for a new wetland bank for VDOT. The project created approximately 86 acres of wetlands and 5,000 lineal feet of stream.

Project Description:
The project creates eight (8) ponding areas and approximately 5,000 lineal feet of stream bank. The work included 130,000 cubic yards of excavation, 5000 lineal feet of stream restoration, 5,000 tons of riprap stone, 9,400 cubic yard of organic compost material, 30,700 individual plantings and invasive species control. VDOT will use this wetlands area to trade for wetlands impacted by other highway projects.
